In this game you play the part of an apprentice, who must perfect their skills in battle to defeat the "flaming skull of Lenny"

Over the course of the game, you must increase your level in various fields (health,speed,damage) However, these changes also affect the enemies, so you must carefully choose which skills will give you the upper hand. 

You must also choose which element to control, these shape how your weapon behaves and thus, how you adjust which skills to use. 

To make the game easier, the player is given loose control over which enemies are allowed to spawn in the initial stages of the first 2/3 levels. However, eventually an extremely powerful enemy called an "enforcer" will spawn, forcing the player onward, towards more powerful enemies.
